I havnt had to one for a long time. A specialty magerine is used, it has a high melting point and is hard at room temperature like plastercine. I have a whole lot of special tools for magerine carving.
I love to do ice carvings too. My fav is to use a small electric chainsaw to do the ice carvings.
I would love to see an ice sculpture sometime! I love those! Very elegant!
We can do one together someday, we will just borrow an elctric chainsaw, they are small and very easy to use, easier then hand tools.
